Danielle Schroeder Kraft has previously worked in Cleveland, OH and San Francisco, CA. She now finds herself illustrating with a view of the flatirons in sunny Boulder, CO. Her passion for food, drink and outdoor adventures shine through in her whimsical watercolor illustrations. Her sketchbooks document everything from cycling the length of the west coast to exploring hot springs and ghost towns.
She has illustrated the cocktail column for Edible Cleveland since the magazine's inception in 2012. In 2015 the Krampus Flip received the Critic's Choice Eddy Award, a national award recognizing achievements within the Edible Magazine community.
After completing a hundred day project exploring surface design she became a prolific pattern designer influenced by everything from vintage fabric to scandinavian design to nature itself.
When she's not painting she's often daydreaming about painting, daydreaming about being outside, or daydreaming about painting outside. Sometimes she's just daydreaming about pizza.
